Job summary

Egan Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support our growing automation team in the Raleigh-Durham area. This full-time field role involves electrical installations, control wiring, and commissioning of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and HMI hardware with a strong emphasis on safety and quality craftsmanship.

Qualified candidates will read electrical drawings, troubleshoot systems, and work under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• NC Electrical license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and control systems in industrial facilities.
• Bend and install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit and install raceway systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and control schematics; install motor controls, VFDs, PLC and HMI hardware.
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution and automation systems; ensure NEC and local code compliance.
