Job summary

Synagro seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain all phases of electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment across the plant. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and sensors, and calibrate instruments while ensuring safety standards and timely work orders.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical/electronic tech, PLC experience, and the ability to read schematics in English.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• At least 5 years as an electrical/electronic technician.
• Instrumentation and PLC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and directs electrical maintenance including preventive, corrective, emergency contracted, and warranty service.
• Identifies, repairs, and documents electrical and instrumentation malfunctions; inputs PLC changes as needed.
• Conducts predictive analysis to update PM system and generate work orders.
• Calibrates mechanical and electrical instrumentation and documents results.
• Ensures completion of work orders per schedule and priority.
• Trains new employees on electrical safety and operating procedures.
