Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a skilled Electrician in Sheboygan, WI to join our manufacturing maintenance team. The role will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, automated machinery, motors, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and distribution systems.

The position requires 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance, reading schematics and blueprints, and adherence to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, electrical controls, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience using multimeters, electrical testers, meters, and other electrical troubleshooting equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical safety, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, control, and automation issues using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot automated production equipment and machinery to minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain records.
