Amcor Limited in Saint Helens, OR seeks an experienced Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across facilities. You will inspect systems, interpret schematics, and diagnose issues with voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with NEC and local codes, and coordination with staff. You will install panels, transformers, and wiring, support control systems, and mentor apprentices where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with an approved electrical apprenticeship.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred depending on state.
• Experience in commercial/industrial environments is expected.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections to identify hazards, defects, or repairs.
• Read blueprints and diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices.
• Install and repair control systems including motors, VFDs, and PLCs.
• Coordinate with contractors and provide updates on job status and materials.
