Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Electrician for day shift to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes calibration, process adjustment, and safe maintenance practices.

You will work with production operators, technicians, and millwrights to troubleshoot complex issues, repair control systems, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to ISO and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must pass Berry Global Certified Electrical Program Test within 15 days of hire.
• Preference for electromechanical education/experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient with 3-phase power up to 480V.
• Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Results oriented with strong attendance and safety record.
• Knowledge of ISO and quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment.
• Perform calibration activities to ensure compliance with industry codes.
• Modify and adjust process equipment and instruments to specifications.
• Maintain and manage waste from maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems.
• Use maintenance shop tools safely on all production equipment.
• Support continuous improvement of operations and production processes.
