Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Install conduit as required and connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for hazards and compliance with codes.
• Follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment per building and safety codes.
• Use measuring devices and testing equipment including ammeters.
• Work from ladders and scaffolds to install, maintain or repair wiring and fixtures.
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including moving heavy objects and conduit.
