Job summary

The J.R. Simplot Company, GF Plant – Grand Forks, is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee plant instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and upgrade systems, document work, and ensure reliable operation with minimal supervision. You will work with the maintenance team, including a Team Leader and Supervisors, and may require weekend/overtime and exposure to extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electricity, electronics, instrumentation and control systems.
• Safe work practices and equipment installation/repair under supervision by maintenance leads.
• Ability to work weekends/overtime and in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, repair and upgrade plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control equipment to minimize downtime.
• Follow direction from Maintenance Team Leader and supervisors; communicate effectively.
