Job summary
Manufacturing-Maintenance-Solutions- in Pekin, IL seeks an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician to support CNC and PLC systems on a full-time, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial electrical equipment, with emphasis on 480V, 3-phase systems and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
You will work hands-on with CNC machines, drives, motors, and control panels, reading schematics and wiring diagrams to minimize downtime and keep
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in industrial electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting with 480V systems
- Experience reading schematics and prints
- Experience in manufacturing environments
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase)
- Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley primarily)
- Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems
- Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements
- Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly

Requirements
- 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems
- Experience reading schematics and prints
- Experience working in manufacturing environments
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or similar)
- CNC or machine tool experience
- Journeyman license or electrical training/apprenticeship
- Hands-on manufacturing environment
- Fast-paced troubleshooting and repair work
- Active role with minimal downtime
