Job summary

Rds Electronics is looking for an electromechanical engineer in the Town of Belgium, Wisconsin. You will take charge of the electronic aspects of weighbridge projects, building electrical control panels, and testing hardware-software communication. Ideal candidates have an education in electricity or electromechanics, can express themselves in Dutch, and work well independently and as part of a team. The position offers a company car, 39 hours per week, and 26 vacation days in a supportive work environment.

FUNCTION | What will you do?

After an internal training, you will be responsible for:

• Taking responsibility for the electronic aspects of each weighbridge project.
• Building the complete electrical control, regulation, and power panel based on electrical schematics.
• Testing hardware-software communication, both internally and at the customer's site.
• Performing interventions in problem situations.
• Contributing to future developments.

PROFILE | What are we looking for in you?

• You have an education in electricity, electromechanics, automatisation/industrial sciences or electrical engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• You have a passion for electromechanics and IT.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You have technical insight and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Open and smooth communication comes naturally to you.
• You can express yourself in Dutch. French and English to a limited extent.
