Job summary

RedGuard is seeking a Skilled Electrician to install, repair, and test electrical systems for blast-resistant, modular buildings and related industrial structures. This role supports production by ensuring safe, compliant electrical work and timely delivery of quality products.

You will read and follow blueprints, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to meet manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems 12V, 24V, 120/208V, 277/480V.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase systems.
• Understanding of data and fire alarm systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read complex blueprints or technical drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, tests, or maintains electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, or fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards or defects and ensure code compliance.
• Plans, layouts and installs electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures per job specs and blueprints.
• Reviews production orders to determine product data and delivery dates.
• Resolves manufacturing problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Inspects machines and equipment for performance and utilization.
• Maintains valid electrician license or ID card to meet regulations.
• Cross-trains across multiple stages of manufacturing.
