Job summary

Taghleef Industries in Indiana is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of direct experience, a high school diploma, and a technical degree is preferred. You will work in a heavy production environment, perform data entry, and support GMP practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical degree in electrical discipline preferred.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Able to work in a moderately heavy manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and daily data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses complex equipment.
• Troubleshoots and maintains faulty electrical components of machines (relays, switches, motors).
• Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery.
• Install power supply and conduit for new machines and programmable controllers.
• Completes routine paperwork and may perform work in other trades.
• Follows all housekeeping guidelines.
• Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems.
• Perform GMP activities in the work area.
