Job summary
SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. in Redwood City, CA seeks an experienced industrial electrician for ongoing maintenance and repairs of high-precision manufacturing equipment.
The ideal candidate will handle 480V 3-phase distribution, motor controls, PLCs, sensors, and high-voltage systems, while adhering to NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician certification and at least 5 years in continuous manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience in continuous manufacturing environments.
- Experience with 480V 3-phase distribution, motor controls, and heavy-duty drives.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose and repair control panels, PLCs, sensors and high-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on high-precision manufacturing systems such as extrusion and cabling machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues involving motors, drives, PLCs, HMIs and sensors.
- Install, wire, and calibrate equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support automation and safety systems by testing and replacing control components.
- Assist engineering teams in system upgrades and monitor energy consumption via digital meters.
