Job summary

PF Holdings in Texas is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to install and repair automated industrial control equipment. You will handle motors, VFDs, sensors, and panels, reading schematics and prints, and performing preventive maintenance.

The role requires a strong electrical background, ability to troubleshoot, and adherence to safety standards, with potential light travel within the plant for parts and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong machine electrical background
• I/O knowledge and ability to read electrical schematics
• Windows environment computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
• Ability to read prints including mechanical and electrical prints
• Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation
• Knowledge of MSHA, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E and PPE
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Installation and repair of automated industrial control equipment
• Install and maintain instrumentation such as loop controllers, VFDs, soft starters, level controls, ethernet MCCs, belt scales, and control panels
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems
• Install and repair electric motors and equipment (120/240/480V)
• Use basic hand tools and electrical test equipment for repairs
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work
• May drive a pickup truck or maintenance vehicle to sites or vendors
• Other duties as assigned
