Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
• Four years combined schooling and industrial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, modification and repair of automated industrial control equipment.
• Design, plan, install and maintain industrial control equipment and instrumentation such as loop controller, VFDs, ethernet motor control centers, panels.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems including PLCs, ladder diagrams, AC/DC circuits.
• Install and repair electric motors and equipment (120/240/480V).
• Read electrical schematics and prints; use electrical test equipment for repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled and document work.
• Source replacement components from vendors as needed.
• May drive a maintenance vehicle to obtain parts.
