Job summary

Cerro Flow Products LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, invites qualified individuals for an Industrial Electrician role in Sauget, Illinois. You will work alongside experienced electricians to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems that keep our manufacturing line running safely and efficiently.

The position emphasizes learning the trade on the job, practical troubleshooting, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining strict safety standards and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify root causes.
• Knowledge of safety policies and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Willing to work evenings, nights, and overtime.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist more experienced electricians with installation, repair and maintenance of electrical components and equipment across machinery and facilities.
• Use testing equipment to complete electrical work and verify proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and address issues to support production operations.
• Rewire high-speed and highly automated equipment (AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, PLC I/O).
• Read electrical schematics and follow safety policies.

Responsible for assisting more experienced electricians with the installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment in all machinery and facilities. Utilizes tools and testing equipment to complete electrical work. A significant portion of this role is to learn the trade from more experienced coworkers.

Pay Range: $28.39-$40.56 per hour

What You’ll Do

As an Industrial Electrician, you’ll help install, repair, and maintain the electrical systems and equipment that keep our operation running. • Following safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and electrical safety.
• Learning the trade from more experienced coworkers as you build your skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
• Highly motivated, self‑directed individual.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (e.g., lock-out/tag-out, electrical safety).
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and propose and implement solutions to support production operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and re‑wire high-speed and/or highly automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to work off shifts (evenings and overnights) and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
• Knowledge of grounded delta electrical environment preferred.
