Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to support our manufacturing processes in Altoona, IA. You will handle conduit bending, wire pulling, control circuit work, and reading electrical blueprints with precision and safety.

The role emphasizes reliability and adherence to NEC standards while supporting a dynamic fabrication environment. Earliest start date is November 2, 2026. A $5,000 retention bonus applies for Journeyman/Master electricians (or $4,000 if not yet licensed).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Working knowledge of NEC electrical codes and conduit bending skills.
• Experience with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment preferred.
• State journeyman or Masters license is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work preferred.
• Medium voltage and electronics experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire and terminate devices such as receptacles, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
• Work with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment in accordance with industry standards.
• Execute duties typical of a Commercial/Industrial Construction Electrician, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Prioritize and plan work activities effectively, meeting project objectives.
• Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with colleagues and responding to feedback.
• Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices to maintain a secure work environment.
