Job summary

AA Metals, Inc. in Williamsport, PA, is hiring an Industrial Electrician for the 2nd shift. Starting salary up to $33/hour with a $1.50/hour shift differential, four 10-hour shifts, and a strong focus on safety and productivity.

The position requires experience with electrical and automation systems, plus the ability to read complex electrical drawings and operate a forklift. Benefits include healthcare, vision, disability insurance, a 401(k) with matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical or electronic engineering technology with 1+ year manufacturing automation experience.
• Or high school diploma with 3+ years manufacturing automation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of PLC logic and industrial automation
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and an aerial lift.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, maintain, repair and diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot motor control systems up to 1,000 hp and ancillary equipment.
• Perform automation control system maintenance using Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley and Automation Direct.
• Support installation, start-up and commissioning of new equipment with safety compliance.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Contribute to JSAs and update procedures based on observations.
• Communicate effectively with all staff and keep work area clean and safe.
• Other duties as assigned.
