Chance Aluminum in Williamsport, PA is hiring an Industrial Electrician for the 2nd shift. The on-site role offers up to $33/hour to start, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential.

The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration in an industrial production setting. We seek a candidate with strong electrical and automation maintenance skills, capable of diagnosing issues and performing preventive maintenance across complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree or equivalent manufacturing experience with automation and PLC interfaces.
• Ability to read complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of PLC logic and industrial automation preferred.
• Experience with maintenance of low voltage motor control systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose problems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motor control systems (up to 600VAC) and drive systems.
• Assist in start-up and commissioning of new equipment; ensure safety standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
