Responsibilities

• Work with DC controls, solid-state controllers, M-G sets, and rectifiers; troubleshoot adjustable-speed systems.
• Support microprocessor-based and programmable control systems.
• Work with sensors and components such as thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, and Allen-Bradley parts.
• Use gas torch equipment.

$22.00–$37.23/hr DOE (Union Wage Scale) | 2nd & 3rd Shift | $0.50/hr Shift Differential | Freeport, IL

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the electrical and electronic systems that support production operations. This is a union position covering 2nd and 3rd shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Install, test, program, and repair electrical and electronic equipment
• Read electrical, electronic, and pneumatic schematics
• Work with DC controls, solid-state controllers, M-G sets, and rectifiers; troubleshoot adjustable-speed systems (mag amps, SCRs)
• Support microprocessor-based and programmable control systems
• Work with thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, load cells, photoelectric sensors, and Allen-Bradley components
• Use gas torch equipment

WHAT YOU NEED:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3–5 years industrial electrical experience
