Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for our Byhalia, MS location. The role operates on a 2-2-3 rotation (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and offers competitive pay, a strong benefits package, and growth opportunities.

You will install, troubleshoot, test, and maintain electrical systems, motors, drives, and instrumentation. A minimum of 3 years in industrial electrical work and familiarity with Electrical Code regulations are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of robust industrial electrical experience.
Familiarity with Electrical Code regulations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Proven ability to collaborate within a team.
Drive, commitment, positive attitude and energy.
Must be able to lift heavy loads and work in high temps.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, and lighting components.
Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance against standards.
Maintain and repair switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators, and reactors.
Install, repair, and maintain motors, generators, control systems and power storage devices.
Apply advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and fix industrial electrical/electronic systems.
Implement preventive maintenance programs and keep precise records.
Install and maintain industrial instrumentation with care.
Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical code specs for installations.
Replace defective parts and adjust machinery to minimize downtime.
Fabricate parts with machine tools as needed during maintenance.
