Helion Group in Swansea, SC seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, maintain industrial equipment, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include wiring motors, installing VFDs, checking fuses, and repairing mechanical components while using a CMMS to track work orders. Strong PLC knowledge and schematic reading are required, with teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V.
• Experience troubleshooting fuses, relays, switches, proximity sensors, and VFDs.
• Basic PLC knowledge and reading electrical schematics.
• Mechanical aptitude for repairing gearboxes, chains, belts, rollers and bearings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet maintenance goals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a CMMS system to track work orders and maintenance activities.
• Prioritize downtime issues, then preventative maintenance and improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment (≈70% electrical, 30% mechanical).
• Wire motors, install VFDs, check fuses, replace sensors and proximity switches.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and electrical control panels.
• Repair, rebuild, install, and relocate industrial machinery.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to complete repairs efficiently.
