Job summary

Automation Systems & Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support projects in Ellabell, GA 31308 and across the United States.

You will work with a team of electricians, craftsmen, engineers, and project managers on industrial electrical, automation, controls, maintenance, and capital projects. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and repairs; reading drawings and schematics; and safely using testing equipment and power tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and construction.
• Install, maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, equipment, wiring, circuits, and related components.
• Support automation systems, electrical controls, factory integration, plant maintenance, and capital projects as assigned.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Identify electrical problems and complete safe, accurate, and code-compliant repairs.

What’s in It for You?

• $30 to $36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

• Approximately $62,400 to $74,880 per year based on a 40-hour workweek, before overtime

• Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The regular schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Project and shutdown schedules may require longer shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Overtime opportunities based on project and customer needs

• Required travel to customer facilities and industrial project sites throughout the United States. Assignments may involve several weeks away from home, particularly from October through January.

Your New Role

• Work as an Industrial Electrician with Ellabell, GA 31308 as the main job location, supporting customers throughout the surrounding region

• Serve customer and project sites in Savannah, GA, and throughout the United States.

• Travel between the main Ellabell location, Savannah service area, and customer or project sites throughout the United States as required.

• Perform industrial electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and construction

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, equipment, wiring, circuits, and related components

• Support automation systems, electrical controls, factory integration, plant maintenance, and capital projects as assigned

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation

• Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively

• Identify electrical problems and complete safe, accurate, and code-compliant repairs

• Coordinate with electricians, craftsmen, project managers, engineers, and other project personnel

• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, electrical safety, quality, accuracy, and timely project completion

• Represent Automation Systems & Controls, Inc. professionally while working at customer facilities and project sites

• 3+ years of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience required

• Demonstrated professional skills relevant to industrial electrician work

• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, circuits, controls, and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation

• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and electrical safety practices

• Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools

• Travel is required based on customer and project needs

• Ability to report to the main job location in Ellabell, GA 31308 as required

• Ability to serve customer and project sites in Savannah, GA, and throughout the United States.

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week, with schedule flexibility and overtime based on project requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
