Job description

Principal duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, supporting daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical component issues, such as replacing ballasts, fuses, circuit breakers, etc.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.
• Experience in installing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment.
• Must provide own tools.
• Follow established programs, policies, and practices that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Maintain communication with other departments, management, and associates, and notify them of any issues affecting production efficiency.

Environment/Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Occasional lifting and carrying objects weighing 10-25 pounds.
• Occasional lifting and carrying objects weighing 25-30 pounds.
• Ability to work productively in a high-volume, fast-paced, high-pressure environment, responding efficiently and courteously to problems and crises.

Desired Background:

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Evidence of electrical training or a technical degree.
