Job summary

ZF Axle Drives Marysville, LLC in Marysville, MI is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support production equipment and maintenance activities. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PM tasks, and safety compliance within a climate controlled manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have at least three years of industrial electrical experience, be familiar with conveyors and automation, and own basic tools. State regulation adherence and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of verified Industrial Electrical experience.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Understanding of mechanics of machine/grinding.
  • Understanding of conveyors, automation, and mechanical systems.
  • Must meet state requirements.
  • Must understand and follow all ARC flash regulations and practices.
  • Must have up-to-date technological training and experience of newer state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Must have own tools (excluding specialty tools).

Responsibilities

  • Operate Mobile CMMS Device for Reactive Calls and Preventive Maintenance assignments.
  • Adhere to electrical safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Read and troubleshoot using electrical drawings.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Comply with Electrical Preventive Maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Complete Electrical PM Inspections, Wire Harness, Filters, Cable Management.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops and training.
  • Comply with all IATF policies and procedures.
  • Work independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Provide input into plant RCA process (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Provide input for periodic PM reviews- Machine Reliability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:

The level I Industrial Electrician pay is $34.25. Applicants with higher level experience will be evaluated for alternate levels (I, II, II). 5% Shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Summary:

Works as a skilled trades electrician on the production equipment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Operate Mobile CMMS Device for Reactive Calls and Preventive Maintenance assignments.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of verified Industrial Electrical experience.
  • Proficient in the trouble shooting and understanding of automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Understanding of mechanics of machine/grinding.
  • Understanding and knowledge of conveyors, automation, and mechanical systems.
  • Must meet state requirements.

  • Must have up-to-date technological training and experience of newer state-of-the-art equipment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Experience in the Automotive industry.
  • German and/or Spanish language skills.

The engineering lab includes a machine shop, where the associate is exposed to potentially hazardous equipment and moderate to high noise levels, both requiring the use of protective equipment to ensure the safety of the associate.
