Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is hiring Industrial Electricians for the Tilden Mine in Ishpeming, Michigan. You will inspect, repair, install and wire electrical apparatus, devices and circuits in plant and mining areas.

Responsibilities include preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting motors, transformers and electronic equipment, and performing other duties as assigned. Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 2+ years related work experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings forIndustrial Electricians at our Tilden Mine operations located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Industrial Electricians are responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and wiring all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits in the plant or mining areas.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technologyor other related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required

• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals

• Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be willing to work overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with working knowledge in electrical maintenance in an industrial or mining environment.
