Job summary

UFP Industries in Buffalo, NY, seeks an Electrician/Electronics Technician to install, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment in the plant.

You will perform preventive maintenance, set up and tune machinery, keep records, and uphold safety standards. The company offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off and other benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma; associate's degree is preferred
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, electrical and electronic control technology
  • Working knowledge of electronic test equipment
  • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC voltage, AC/DC drives, control wiring, and PLC Controls
  • Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Prepares various reports as required
  • Performs other duties as required

Job Summary

The Electrician/Electronics Technician is responsible for performing the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment.

Hourly Pay Range

$34.00-$41.00 hourly- dependent on experience

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living and compensation may vary depending on experience.

Bonus/Incentive Pay

Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
