Qualifications

• Completion of High School, GED, or a technical program focused on industrial or commercial wiring.
• Experience wiring industrial panels while following QA procedures.
• Proficiency with industrial hand tools, hydraulic knockouts, and conduit bending equipment.
• Ability to analyze and follow complex wire schedules, point-to-point prints, and electrical blueprints.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication for documentation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass physical exam, drug screen, background check, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Interpret shop prints, single-line diagrams, and schematics to position equipment per NEC standards.
• Install components such as Switchgear, VFDs, ATS, DCS, transformers, DC chargers, and PLC cabinets.
• Cut, bend, and thread EMT and RMC conduit; install cable trays and wire ways.
• Mount sub-panels, switches, and lighting onto structural frames with precision tools.
• Route and tag wiring with accurate measurements for future service needs.
• Terminate electrical connections using hand tools and crimping lugs.
• Perform mechanical fabrication tasks like drilling, tapping, and reaming bolt holes.
• Label wires, keep workspace clean, and assist with on-site installations.

A leading manufacturing organization in the Youngstown, Ohio region is seeking skilled Industrial Electricians and Wiring Technicians to join their team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of industrial equipment and sophisticated electrical control panels. You will utilize engineering schematics and blueprints to install low-voltage wiring and conduit, ensuring that all systems operate safely and meet the rigorous standards of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret shop prints, single-line diagrams, and schematics to accurately position equipment in accordance with NEC standards.
• Help ensure system reliability by installing advanced components such as Switchgear, VFDs, ATS, DCS, transformers, DC chargers, and PLC cabinets.
• Execute the cutting, bending, and threading of EMT and RMC conduit while installing cable trays and wire ways to maintain proper grounding.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and levels to mount sub-panels, switches, and lighting onto structural frames.
• Route, anchor, and tag wiring while ensuring accurate measurements are taken to accommodate future service needs.
• Complete electrical terminations using specialized hand tools and crimping lugs onto wire ends.
• Perform mechanical fabrication tasks, including drilling, tapping, and reaming bolt holes with power tools.
• Support team productivity by labeling wires, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with on-site customer installations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of High School, GED, or a technical program focused on industrial or commercial wiring.
• Background in wiring industrial panels while adhering to established Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Proficiency with industrial hand tools, hydraulic knockouts, and various conduit bending equipment.
