Zekelman Industries – Wheatland Tube in Wheatland, PA, is seeking an Electrical Technician to support plant operations through expert electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. You will repair industrial control systems and ensure equipment uptime in a fast-paced rotating shift environment.

The role requires proficiency with PLCs, motors, drives, and relays, plus the ability to read schematics. Strong safety focus and ability to work weekends/overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives and relays.
• Perform electrical maintenance across control and power systems.
• Bend and install conduit and wiring for equipment installations and upgrades.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Support crane repair and electrical servicing of plant operations.
• Prepare documentation and reports according to company standards.
• Maintain regular, full‑time onsite attendance and safety compliance.
