Job summary

DFA seeks an electrically skilled technician to perform maintenance on plant utility and process equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in compliance with codes and safety policies, using SAP CMMS for record-keeping.

Role includes on-call duties and long hours during outages. The position requires a high school diploma, a journeyman license (master electrician preferred), and 2–4 years of manufacturing electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrician license; master electrician preferred.
• 2–4 years electrical maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must pass Master Electrician license for NM within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoots, and operates programmable controllers, DCS, and interlocking systems.
• Installs equipment for new electrical services (120V, 240V, 480V three phase); wires, panels, breakers, relays, and controls.
• Performs electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs; replaces circuit breakers and fuses.
• Works with National/State/Local Electrical Codes; maintains safety standards.
• Operates SAP CMMS to record maintenance data.
• On-call and long hours may be required for critical network/machinery issues.
