Job summary

Our client near Huger, SC, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical and automated systems to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, motor controls, 480V systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and VFDs in a steel processing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with 480V, PLCs, VFDs, and motor control centers.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience supporting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment reliability and automation improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to keep steel processing equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems.
