Job summary

RRD is seeking an electrically skilled technician to repair and maintain machinery across die units, glue units, conveyors, bindery equipment, and related systems, following diagrams and manufacturer specifications. The role involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, and loading electrical lines and controls while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will read blueprints and schematics, use hand and power tools, and diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of electrical controls and troubleshooting for industrial equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and test equipment effectively.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, schematics and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC systems and older equipment without PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment per diagrams and specs.
• Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines and controls.
• Replace motors and wiring; diagnose faulty components and wear.
• Ensure safety per OSHA and LOTO; work overtime and on-call as needed.
