Job summary

Arconic Davenport Works is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Ingot Department in Davenport, Iowa. You will support and maintain electrical systems, perform troubleshooting on furnaces, PLCs, and drives, and lead safety and training initiatives.

The role requires a strong electrical background in manufacturing, adherence to EHS policies, and collaboration with engineering and operations to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Pass an electrical proficiency exam.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a safe workplace by participating in safety processes and Arconic values.
• Provide technical support for planned and unplanned equipment breakdowns and outages.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis with documentation and records.
• Train and mentor Unit Supervisors and craftspeople to improve skills.
• Develop SOPs, WIP procedures, and training plans for equipment.
• Assist in spare parts management and support maintenance systems.
