Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician in the Washington, DC area. A Journeyman or Master Electrician license and at least three years in industrial settings are required to perform maintenance, testing, calibration, installations, and safety-compliant work.

You will read blueprints and electrical diagrams, utilize infrared thermography for predictive maintenance, and collaborate with engineers to improve reliability and productivity in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Journeyman Electrician level of expertise and be able to read blueprints/schematics.
• Experience with infrared thermography and predictive maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC safety standards and industrial electrical controls is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial electrical equipment.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Use infrared thermography for predictive maintenance and issue identification.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards and document work performed.
