Qualifications

• Strong fundamental knowledge of electrical theory.
• 4+ years of industrial electrical experience or trade-school plus hands-on experience.
• Willingness to work in a steel mill / heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a team-driven culture.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and improve equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial steel mill equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Work with AC/DC motors, power distribution, transformers, and control systems.
• Support safe equipment operation and minimize downtime.
• Propose and implement solutions to maintenance and production challenges.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Support plant safety policies, housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational needs.
