What’s The Job?

• Title: Industrial Electrical Technician
• Location: Dalhart, Texas
• Salary: Up to $42 per hour, depending on certification and experience
• Hours: Mon‑Fri 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or Mon‑Thu / Tues‑Fri 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

What Will I Be Doing?

• Team member must be safe‑conscious and able to follow PJHA, observation process, and all company/site safety guidelines.
• Work without supervision.
• Use hand tools and power tools daily.
• Be willing to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, when required.
• Work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, scaffolding) with fall protection equipment.
• Work in confined spaces as necessary.
• Operate and have knowledge of heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, boom lifts, and skid loaders.
• Adhere to the published work schedule while remaining flexible based on workload.
• Maintain compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Operate industrial‑powered vehicles (RTFL, forklift, aerial lift, scissor lift).
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment (lighting, motors, inverters, soft starts, wye‑delta systems); knowledge of schematics, mathematics, preventive/predictive technologies; basic computer literacy; safe electrical testing and measurement best practices. Cut, thread, bend, and install raceway (conduit) and cable trays; run wire through raceways and cable trays to be tested by MCA; adhere to NECA 101 standards.
• Perform calibration and documentation of functions (flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical instrumentation). Troubleshoot process control loops using specialized testing equipment.
• Meet performance expectations from appraisals and employee development planning.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date documented personal tool list; supply required tools upon employment.
• Meet physical requirements of the job (provided prior to employment).
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Complete accurate administrative duties including time accounting and work order completion.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

What Makes Me Qualified?

• Ability to obtain a State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state qualifications; ability to obtain ISA CCST Level 1 Certification.
• Experience: 5+ years of electrical and controls experience or 4+ years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity (preferred).
• Current valid driver’s license.
