Industrial Electrical Project Manager / Foreman
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Project Manager / Foreman to join its Knoxville-area Industrial Services team. This position is responsible for leading and performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance activities across industrial facilities throughout East Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities
- Install complete electrical systems for new and existing processing plants and production facilities.
- Install conduit, cable tray, power distribution systems, MCCs, transformers, motors, control panels, instrumentation, and field devices.
- Install and terminate power, control, communications, and fiber-optic cabling.
- Assist with PLC panel installation, I/O checkout, HMI installation, and control-system commissioning.
- Perform equipment startup, functional testing, and commissioning in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, control schematics, and construction documents.
- Coordinate electrical installation activities with customers, vendors, automation engineers, facility personnel, and project management.
- Ensure installations comply with applicable NEC, OSHA, MSHA, and customer safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems as needed.
- Provide support to field maintenance teams on complex electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate installation progress.
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience in industrial construction, electrical installation, or industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of 480V three-phase power distribution, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience installing conduit, cable tray, wiring, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability and willingness to use hand tools, power tools, and other job-related equipment.
- Ability to work independently and travel to various project sites throughout East Tennessee.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
