Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager - Industrial Electrical & Inside Wiring to support project delivery on heavy industrial electrical construction and wiring initiatives nationwide.

Under direct supervision you will assist with planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors on long-term onsite assignments. This role develops your understanding of operations and stakeholder coordination, while meeting deadlines and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in construction, industrial, or electrical fields.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide for long-term onsite assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with construction/project software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager(s) in managing projects under direct supervision.
• Support development and tracking of project performance metrics, budgets, and cost controls.
• Assist with cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coordinate with field supervision, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and clients.
• Assist with material procurement, submittals, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and contract compliance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including billing, cost reporting, and scheduling records.
• Support federal/state reporting and project correspondence as required.
• Participate in construction meetings and contribute to project coordination.
