Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, Florida, is hiring for an onsite Electrical Technician role. You will install, service, maintain and repair industrial electronic and electrical systems across plant facilities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an electrical apprenticeship, with two or more years of relevant experience.

U.S. citizenship is required to access program data. Engineering teamwork, safety compliance per OSHA, and the ability to read schematics will help

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrical apprenticeship completed is required.
• Two+ years of electrical experience preferred.
• Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair industrial electronic and electrical systems across plant facilities.
• Answer trouble calls and diagnose problems using drawings and manuals.
• Install, modify and repair switchgear, transformers and high voltage equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and TPM on equipment.
• Ensure safety devices and alarms function before assignment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and lower-grade mechanics as needed.
