Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite electrical technician to install, service and repair a wide range of industrial electronic and electrical systems at our Jupiter, FL facility. You will troubleshoot complex equipment using schematics and test instruments, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with high voltage equipment installation and repairs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Completion of a qualified electrical apprenticeship is required.

Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain and repair complex industrial electrical and electronic systems and controls.
Respond to trouble calls and resolve issues using drawings, schematics and manuals.
Use voltmeters, analyzers and test instruments to troubleshoot and verify performance.
Install, modify and repair switchgear, transformers and high voltage equipment as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance and assist in emergencies.
Read blueprints and wiring schematics; work from complex diagrams.
This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday.
