Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support Dynamet operations in Washington, PA. The role requires hands-on maintenance of electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and adherence to safety standards within a high‑production environment.

You will inspect, test, adjust, and maintain electrical devices, read blueprints, and implement preventive maintenance while coordinating with operations leadership to ensure uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school in electrical maintenance.
• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting or equivalent education.
• An Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related technical training is preferred.
• Industrial electrical maintenance with blueprints/ schematics reading preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, drive systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, adjust and maintain electrical devices, apparatus and circuits.
• Troubleshoot issues with operations leadership and employees.
• Read blueprints, schematics and process flow diagrams to perform tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Provide technical assistance to engineering in repair or improvement of equipment.
