Job summary

Dauch in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of manufacturing equipment. You will join a skilled team dedicated to reliability and continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in production settings, CNC machines and mechanical presses, strong problem-solving, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

Experience in a production environment, with emphasis on CNC machines and mechanical presses preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical analytical problem-solving ability.
Experience welding, sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting.
Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic blueprints.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong oral and written communication and basic computer skills.
Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime is desired.

Responsibilities

Support production operations for maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; select materials and operate tools and measuring devices.
Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment using sound methods.
Work from drawings, specifications, and schematics to complete tasks.
Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance inspections.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
