Omya is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical equipment to ensure continuous plant operations in Florence, VT. You will work with the maintenance and automation teams to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and test new systems, while adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• 2+ years of work experience under a qualified electrician.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment.
• Install, test, commission, and start up equipment and systems as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, automation, production, and engineering teams.
• Utilize CMMS to track maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, drives, and sensors.
• Assist in design and modification of electrical layouts and diagrams.
• Participate in safety trainings and emergency call-ins.
