Job summary

Thompson First Group is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for a local client in Trainer, PA. The role involves installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and instrumentation across the plant.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of plant industrial experience, knowledge of AC/DC motor controls, and the ability to troubleshoot circuitry from building wiring to production equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of plant industrial experience.
• Knowledge of AC and DC motor controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot all phases of electrical circuitry from building wiring to production equipment, with or without schematics.
• Work with PLC logic/programs.

Responsibilities

• Layout, dismantle, install, maintain, repair, and test electrical devices, fixtures, control equipment, meters, instruments, and wiring throughout the facility.
• Work with PLC logic/programs.
• Make new installations of electrical/electronic equipment throughout the plant.
• Adjust, calibrate, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical/electronic equipment as required.
• Adjust and repair frequency drive motor controllers as well as DC motors.
