Job summary

Douglas Electric is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for manufacturing facilities, processing plants, utilities, and infrastructure upgrades. You will analyze drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and contingency, coordinating with field teams to reflect real-world installation methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, process equipment, PLC and automation.
• Proficient in Accubid and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for industrial electrical projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, bid documents, one-lines and scope requirements.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and contingency pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Attend bid reviews and estimate presentations with leadership.
• Coordinate with field teams to reflect real-world installation methods.
