Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc. in the Charlotte area is seeking an Industrial Electrical Estimator to accurately estimate materials, labor, and timelines for industrial electrical installations.

You will analyze blueprints, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed cost propositions and competitive bids. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors, perform cost analyses and value engineering, document estimates, and support risk management and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in electrical estimating, preferably in industrial construction or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately quantify materials and labor requirements.
• Proficiency with estimating software ConEst.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards governing industrial electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Analyze project requirements to estimate costs of electrical installations in industrial settings.
• Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids with pricing breakdowns and timelines.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify requirements.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize overruns.
• Documentation: Maintain records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance estimation skills.
