Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to focus on designing electrical systems for industrial chemical facilities.

The role includes power distribution, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layout, and installation design, with involvement in reviewing drawings and equipment specifications. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines and support project proposals, site work, and startup activities.

Qualifications

Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university.
Must possess knowledge of electrical design fundamentals.
AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Navisworks (Freedom) preferred but not required.
Engineering and design experience with power delivery systems for chemical/industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

Perform short circuit analysis on existing facilities and new projects.
Review and Redline P&IDs, One-Lines, Spec Sheets, Equipment Drawings.
Assist senior staff in the development of project proposals.
Attend client meetings to define project scope during proposals and review design documents during execution.
Troubleshooting electrical problems and coordinating with IE technicians.
Travel onsite for project preparation and execution.
Communicate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.
