Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for industrial chemical facilities.

You will develop power distribution plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and installation designs, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to deliver safe, compliant projects. You will review drawings and specs, perform short-circuit analyses, and support proposals and client meetings, with travel expected to 20–25%.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Knowledge of electrical design fundamentals.
• Experience with power delivery systems for chemical/industrial sectors.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit analysis on existing facilities and new projects.
• Review P&IDs, One-Lines, Spec Sheets, Equipment Drawings.
• Assist senior staff in development of project proposals and client meetings.
• Travel onsite for project preparation and execution; coordinate with technicians.
