Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer for our client in Randburg, Gauteng. You will design, install, maintain, and upgrade electrical infrastructure and automation systems across large industrial facilities.

This role requires strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and commitment to operational excellence to drive productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• ECSA registration with Pr. Eng. or TechniEng. is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or processing plants.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, motor control, VSDs, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation.
• Experience in electrical project management and budgeting.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for industrial plants.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical assets to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, ensuring rapid response to production disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage electrical projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
• Specify and procure electrical components, equipment, and services.
• Analyze electrical system performance data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and reliability.
• Liaise with operations, maintenance, and other engineering disciplines to support plant objectives.
• Stay current with advancements in industrial electrical technology, including automation and control systems.
