Job summary

NavonLogic is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to support industrial electrical design and AutoCAD drawing development. The engineer will translate design criteria, field information, vendor data, and engineering markups into accurate, coordinated deliverables.

Responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, preparing AutoCAD packages, and coordinating interfaces with controls, instrumentation, vendors, and field teams. Strong independence and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Professional Engineer license in good standing
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Strong AutoCAD experience with 2D electrical design and drafting
• Ability to develop and review industrial electrical drawings
• Experience with industrial facilities, power distribution, MCCs, switchgear, motors, controls, or brownfield projects
• Clear communication and ability to work independently
• Ability to obtain additional state licensure when required by a project

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, panel layouts, and installation details
• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawing packages, including redlines and as-built updates
• Check designs for technical accuracy, constructability, coordination, and document control
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with controls, instrumentation, vendors, contractors, and field teams
• Support design reviews, field verification, construction, and turnover as assigned
