Job summary

Actalent seeks an Electrical Construction Coordinator / Electrical Designer for industrial projects in Louisville, CO. The role blends field and office work to evaluate existing electrical infrastructure, develop installation plans, and prepare construction documentation for contractors to execute safely and efficiently.

You will perform field walkdowns, update AutoCAD drawings, generate BOMs, and collaborate with engineering and construction teams to minimize downtime while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience performing electrical installations in industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of conduit, cable tray, and field routing in active plants.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and field conditions.
• Experience with equipment demolition and safe installation practices.
• AutoCAD updates and field markup documentation experience.
• Industrial construction or plant expansion experience.
• Experience generating Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Construction support on industrial manufacturing projects.
• Exposure to industrial plant environments.
• Journeyman and Master Electrician licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed field walkdowns to assess existing conditions.
• Evaluate electrical equipment, panels, conduit, and wiring for capacity.
• Identify demolition needs and assess impacts of new installations.
• Develop construction work packages and drawing markups for field execution.
• Create sketches and redlines communicating field conditions.
• Assist with AutoCAD updates and field markups.
• Generate BOMs to support procurement and scheduling.
• Plan installation sequencing with engineering and construction teams.
• Minimize downtime while completing electrical work.
• Verify installations meet codes and industry practices.
• Interpret drawings and ensure they reflect field conditions.
• Support demolition and replacement of equipment with safe procedures.
• Provide construction support and resolve field questions.
